Research...

It has suddenly burst into my heart that perhaps we are supposed to adopt a little girl to join our family. I have been researching adoption and agencies for a few weeks already trying to process what would be involved. I have been praying for direction and feel that I am SO drawn to Kazakstan. I can't quite explain it but the children I have seen in photos from Kazakhstan just call out to me. Mike wonders if there might be a daughter for us somewhere closer than 7000 miles away but I don't feel that there is. For me it's Kazakhstan or nothing! So, we'll see. I have prayed and prayed for a many years that God would either bring a daughter into our lives or take the desire away from me and the desire has not gone away. I'm really really really excited about the possibility of adopting a beautiful Kazakhstany girly. Ofcourse picking the right adoption agency is crucial because the adoption may be difficult because of our family size. World Partners is a highly respected adoption agency working in Kazakhstan and Jim Harding, founder of World Partners, already told me that their agency would not be able to help us and that it is very difficult for larger families to adopt in Kazakhstan. He did suggest I contact Little Miracles or the Frank Agency out of North Carolina. I was thrilled to see on the Frank agency webpage that they do not have limits on family size for those adopting in Kaz..... so there is HOPE yet!
